Join us as we wrap up the WRDA 2020-2021 membership year on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 7 PM with a vegan culinary demonstration with Chef Michael Posid.  Network with other WRDA members and cook along with Chef Michael as he prepares a vegan feast.  All menu items can reheated for lunch or dinner the next day!

Michael Posid graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1980. He worked in Manhattan at the Rainbow Room and The NY Athletic Club, paying his dues in learning how to cook and working his way towards becoming a versatile chef. In 1983 Michael became the Executive Sous Chef at a Hilton hotel, where he experienced the art of ice carving and continued learning different international cuisines. He's carved hundreds of ice carvings since his Hilton days.

In 1988 Michael was offered a job with Marriott /Sodexo Corporate Services, where he managed an executive dining room cooking for the CEO’s of companies. Michael worked with 7 Major Corporations with Sodexo over 30 years as a Corporate Executive Chef. He's presently employed as the Executive Chef with Sodexo HealthCare Services since September 2017 at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

Cook along with Chef Michael as he prepares a full vegan meal including

  • Seitan Stew
  • Millet and Butternut Squash Pilaf
  • Chia Seed Mango Pudding
